We have established mouse models of IgE-mediated allergies (allergic asthma and allergic rhinitis), as well as an antigen-specific model of autoimmunity. These models can be used to test novel approaches in allergen-specific immunotherapy, and to examine the role of adjuvants in order to increase safety and efficacy.
This project has lead to filing of a new therapeutic patent. More information will follow soon.
